Amazing Women Athletes
This book in the popular Women’s Hall of Fame Series includes photos and sidebars containing fun facts and quotes.
This collection features ten women athletes from Canada and around the world beginning with our own, and mostly forgotten Olympian, Bobbi Rosenfeld, considered by many experts as this country’s most accomplished female athlete of the first half- century. Other amazing women athletes include a mountain climber, a skater, and formerly disabled women who became champion runners and riders.
