Wild Rilla

A full-colour picture book about an ordinary girl who can magically turn herself into a feisty super girl who helps out.

To most people Rilla seems like any kid who sometimes gets into trouble at school. But Rilla is not ordinary at all; she’s magical. She can transform herself into Wild Rilla, unrecognizable to all who know her. When she gets into trouble with her teacher, a magic verse comes to her rescue. In an instant, her clothes become a fantastical costume, her glasses a purple wonder.

Like a gust of wind she’s off looking for adventure. The kindergarten teacher is upset because he can’t figure out what to do for art class. Quick as a wink, Rilla shows the students how to decorate the room with hand prints to make a fantasy world of laughing leaves. Discovering how Rilla solves problems will delight readers eight and under. Bright and lively with full-colour illustrations throughout, this picture book tickles the imagination as it empowers the reader.
