Reviews Of: White Space Between
July 27, 2009:
reviewed by: Emma"The Holocaust can be a difficult and dark subject, particularly for a Jewish writer. But Ami Sands Brodoff’s new novel, The White Space Between, is neither hard to read nor depressing. The author’s lightness of touch renders it a story of hope; the pain of the past is remade into a force for change." - Herizons Magazine

Brodoff’s prose bears an affinity to the work of Margaret Laurence in her exploration of the mother-daughter relationship, her periodic insertion of old photos and memory capsules into the narrative, and her search for the basic humanity in people. Brodoff, who has published a previous novel and collection of short stories, is a writer worth watching." - Bill Gladstone, special to the Canadian Jewish News. June'09
